Access from JR Morioka Station to Appi Kogen Ski Resort

To go to Appi Kogen Ski Resort, get on the Tohoku Shinkansen or Akita Shinkansen at JR Tokyo Station to Morioka. It takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes at the shortest by the Shinkansen.
Get on Iwate Kenpoku Bus for Appi Kogen at West Exit Bus Pool No. 6, and get off at the hotel you reserved. It is about a 1 hour ride.


Iwate Kenpoku Bus for Appi Kogen Ski Resort

To get on the bus to Appi Kogen Ski Resort, use an escalator from the Shinkansen Platform, pass through the North Exit Ticket Gate, and go toward North Exit Signboard.

Go straight about 50 m from the signboard. There is a signboard for the Bus Pool. Turn left there. There is an accessway to the bus pool. Go straight through the accessway and turn right at the exit. Get on an "Iwate Kenpoku Bus" at Bus Pool No. 6.*No. 6 is a lane only for Appi Kogen.

Connects Tokyo Station and Morioka Station in about 3 hours and 12 minutes at the shortest. From Sendai Station (some trains are from Koriyama Station) to Morioka Station, the train stops at every station.

秋田新幹線「こまち」

Akita Shinkansen "Komachi"

Connects Tokyo Station and Akita Station in about 4 hours and 4 minutes at the shortest. All ordinary car seats are reserved. It links with "Hayate" between Tokyo Station and Morioka Station.
