Zundamochi Making Experience

A hands-on mochi (rice cake) making experience, one of the traditional foods of the Osaki region. Make zunda paste fresh from the beans pods.

This is a hands-on experience of making mochi dishes (rice cake), one of the traditional foods of the Osaki region. You will make zunda paste by removing the beans one by one from their pods and mashing them. Participants can experience the traditional culture that has been cherished and passed down from generation to generation in a 130-year-old Japanese house that has been recognized as a World Agricultural Heritage site.
