[DC Special Program] Commemorating the Year of the Ox, Dewa Sanzan's Journey of Rebirth
The year 2021 is a once-in-12-years Yudonosan Year of the Ox, which among the twelve Chinese zodiac years is said to be the one in which the light of the deities shines brightest.
For the 10th anniversary of the 2011 earthquake, consider taking a trip from Dewa Sanzan, the headquarters of the 33 domains of Eastern Japan, to pray for ""recovery from the earthquake and the disaster caused by the new coronavirus"". To experience your own spiritual rebirth, visit Mt. Haguro (symbolizing the present), Mt. Gassan (symbolizing the past), and Mt. Yudono (symbolizing the future).
