Kikukoma Co.,Ltd.

Gonohe’s climate is well-suited for sake brewing and the final product has a taste you'll never get tired of.

Kikukoma was founded in 1910. In the early Showa period (1926–1989), Kyujiro Miura, the fourth-generation brewer and a master grower of chrysanthemums, changed the brewery’s name to “Kikukoma,” which combines the words for "chrysanthemums" (kiku) and "horses" (koma), both of which are specialties of Gonohe.

The sake has a taste that has been cherished and nurtured by the local community.

Today, the seventh-generation owner has taken over the brewing process with the idea that "only sake loved by the local community can become famous."
