Yakurai Garden is a vast garden with a total area of 150,000 square meters and 400 types of cultivated plants.
The grounds where flowers bloom in profusion throughout the four seasons consist of eight themed gardens. These include Rose Garden, Herb Garden and Fururu-no Oka. The highlights include the herbs and roses that bloom in profusion in the early summer and the cosmos that blossom in full glory in the fall. In addition to seasonal events and limited time fairs, the chapel, herb shop and restaurant in the garden are popular. Furthermore, there are aroma candle and aroma soap making, garden interior production and other craft workshops available. However, you will need to make a reservation in advance for these.
The garden turns into a ski resort for families in the winter. The slope is relatively gentle, so this also serves as a ski slope for children. Accordingly, even beginners and families can ski and snowboard here with peace of mind.
