Not Niseko nor Hakuba, Hachimantai is Japan’s last frontier for powder snow. Here, you can get your fill of Hachipow—powder snow that exceeds that of Hokkaido—and enjoy the local onsen (hot springs) and regional cuisine.

For the three-day, two-night package, choose your preferred accommodation from either Matsukawa Onsen, a traditional Japanese-style hot spring inn, Hachimantai Mountain Hotel & Spa, a Western-style hotel with a classy ambience, or Lodge Clubman, a family-friendly lodge run by local powder-skiing guides.

During your three-day, two-night stay, you will be guided to Hachimantai’s exclusive backcountry spots, traversing the mountains on the snowcat and on foot. (You will be guided to the best spots available considering the participants’ levels and requests, as well as the weather that day. The snowcat will be used for transportation as much as possible, but its availability will depend on factors such as weather conditions and reservation status.)

The package includes transportation to/from Morioka Station or Hanamaki Airport, two-nights lodging, two breakfasts/lunches/dinners, and one English-speaking guide per four guests.

Avalanche safety sets (avalanche beacons, etc.) are not included in the price, but they are available to rent at an additional fee. Insurance is not included, but it is mandatory for participation in this trip. Please consult with us.
