Hirosaki Park is home to about 2,600 cherry trees of 52 different types, which are in full bloom from late April to early May every year. The sight of all the cherry blossoms in full bloom is truly magical with many scenic spots. The Hirosaki Cherry Blossom Festival, held from late April to early May, attracts more than 2 million visitors every year.
