Washinoo sake is made with pristine underground water from Mt. Iwate and intended to be enjoyed with local food. As the quantity produced is limited, you can only enjoy this sake by visiting Iwate!① 30-minute sake brewery tour (January~March: see the sake manufacturing process in operation; outside of this period guidance will be given via a video shown in the original building used since the brewery's founding in 1829)② Sample a number of sake to compare their unique characteristics③ Optional: 'Warimizu' demonstration('warimizu' is the process of adding water in the final stage of production and is critical to determining the sake's finished taste. The taste can change considerably depending on the amount of water added so this activity allows you to experience those subtle changes and the depth of thought that goes into sake production.)
