Experience Yamada-style camping and eating on Oranda Island, an uninhabited island in Sanriku
Yamada Bay is unusually calm for the Sanriku coast. In the bay, there are rafts for aquaculture and uninhabited islands "Holland Island" and "Kojima" floating in the water.
The waters around Holland Island are shallow and clear, with emerald green waters that look like a tropical resort. You can taste "Yamada-style camp rice," a meal mainly consisting of steamed and grilled shellfish and other seafood.
Why not spend your holiday on an uninhabited island?

What is Holland Island?
In 1643, the Dutch ship "Breskens" anchored at this island to supply food and water. With a circumference of 900m and an area of 26,960m2, it is the only uninhabited island bathing beach in Tohoku.
