Akita Art Village (Senboku City, Akita Prefecture)

Centered around Warabi Theater, which stages original musicals by the Warabi Troupe, this unique “Art Village” features Akita Prefecture's first craft beer, “Lake Tazawa Beer”; “Yupopo Hot Springs,” offering both day trips and overnight stays; and the “Forest Craft Center,” selling handmade craft furniture and hosting hands-on workshops.
