The Kasuge River flows from a nuclear heritage site that is off-limits to visitors. It is a recreation area near the Sobari Dam Lake, which is filled with water from the Kasuge River.
In addition to a nature park surrounded by a forest of beech and other broadleaf trees and Akita cedars, there is also a campground and a ground golf course.
There is also a large playground, a battery car course, and an interesting bicycle square. With no cell phone coverage, this is an area where visitors can forget about time.
The Showa-era exhibits are also secretly popular at the Furusato Nature Park Center.
Free Wi-Fi is available at the Suffolk Pavilion and near the parking lot.
The Suffolk Pavilion is currently closed. Please check the official website for details.
