Get on a sea kayak and paddle yourself to explore and tour the sea of Sanriku Geopark. While listening to the sounds of waves and nature, enjoy stunning seasonal natural sceneries from the ocean. A sea kayak offers views of the coastal scenery, which has been restored following the Great East Japan Earthquake including the seawalls. If you are lucky, you may encounter a fisherman at sea! Two-person kayaks are also available. Beginners do not need to worry; this is a small-group activity, life jackets are worn, and kayaks are highly stable. Barbecued fresh local seafood will be served.
