SDGs Contribution Project: Workshop for making snow boards with thinned wood in Nogawa Manabikan
Snow Board Making Workshop。Snowboarding is a sport that is a combination of skateboarding, surfing, and snowboarding without bindings or edges. The surface of the board is non-slip, so it can be easily enjoyed with boots or snow shoes. This year's program includes a hands-on snowboard-making workshop using thinned cedar trees. You will make a snow board 90cm long x 30cm wide, commonly known as a "snow toy".The project also contributes to the SDGs by using unneeded thinned wood without waste. It also comes with one Arcadia hand towel for upholstery to strengthen the board! There are five different tenugui designs to choose from on the day of the event.
After the experience, you can take home a completed snow board. The workshop is the only place to get snowboards at a great price!
Enjoy this winter with the one-of-a-kind snow board you made yourself!
