Hachimantai Nature Walk Bus
Visitors can enjoy sightseeing in comfort while appreciating nature in each of the four seasons!
The Hachimantai Nature Walking Bus is a seasonal bus service (express service via expressway) connecting Morioka Station to Hachimantai Onsenkyo, Matsukawa Onsen, and Hachimantai Summit for those who wish to explore the Hachimantai area and use Matsukawa and Toshichi Onsen Hot Springs.The bus usually runs from late April to mid-October.By using this bus, trekking beginners can enjoy the Hachimantai Summit Circle Course, as a walking guide will take you around the summit of Hachimantai Summit free of charge. The bus can also be used in combination with other buses in the summit area for traversing the mountain and using the hot springs.

The Hachimantai Nature Walking Bus is a local bus service that does not require reservations. Please purchase a ticket at the Morioka Station Bus Information Center (near bus stop No. 7 at the East Exit) before boarding the bus.
