Kakunodate Oyama-Banashi

In order to provide many visitors with an opportunity to see "Oyamabayashi," a folk performing art representative of Senboku City that plays a central role in the "Kakunodate Matsuri-no-Yama Event," a nationally designated Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property, we are holding a demonstration of hand dance and musical performance by the Akita Obakko.
In the courtyard of the Kakunodate Kabazaiku Folklore Museum, groups from Senboku City perform hand dance and musical demonstrations so that many visitors can see the "Oyamabayashi" performed at the Kakunodate festival from September 7 to 9.
