A-FACORY combines an Aomori-produced apple cider workshop and market. It is located in the waterfront area in front of Aomori Station. This is a location that is easy to access.

You can tour the cider and juice production processes in which apples produced in the prefecture are used in the workshop. You can also taste these drinks by purchasing a tasting card. You can even savor dishes and sweets made with a commitment to using ingredients produced in the prefecture. These are prefect for souvenirs.

The building won a Good Design Award in FY2011. It looks beautiful in collaboration with Aomori Bay Bridge. This creates a fantastic landscape when it is lit up at night.

The Aomori Lights and Paper Pageant held every winter decorates the bay area around A-FACTORY. The Japanese paper objects made with Nebuta techniques and the snowmen handmade by citizens of the city emit warm light.
