Furukawa Market has been bustling as the citizens' kitchen since the 1960s, and is a treasure house of seasonal ingredients.
Aomori Gyosai Center, one of the Furukawa Markets that evokes the nostalgia and liveliness of the Showa period, offers “Nokke-don”, where visitors can enjoy a bowl of rice topped with their favorite ingredients as they tour the market.
