Otaki Falls in Oshuku

Oshuku Onsen boasts a history of 450 years. This scenic spot is just a few minutes’ walk from the hot spring district. The Otaki Falls are located along the road to Nishiwaga Town. (The torii gate of Otaki Kaga Daimyojin serves as a landmark.) The waterfall, which flows through the mountains, has an abundant amount of water. There is a great walking trail where you can see clusters of dogtooth violets and Japanese swamp lanterns in the spring, and the colored leaves are picturesque in autumn. Whenever you visit, you will be enchanted by scenery you will never grow tired of! There is also a waterfall upstream called Yutaki Falls, which can be seen from Yutaki Bridge in the hot spring district. *You cannot get close to the waterfall.
