Set against the backdrop of Mt. Iwate, this ski resort has the perfect location with a view of Morioka City and long slopes totaling 2.6 kilometers. The gondolas take you all the way to the top of the 2,000-meter summit, so you do not need to change lifts midway, making it easy for anyone to enjoy a long ski session. Everyone from families to advanced skiers can enjoy skiing due to the variety of slope layouts, from flat, long clean slopes that allow for exhilarating skiing to mogul slopes to family slopes that small children can use with peace of mind! (Lift fees are free for elementary school students (up to 6th grade) and younger on all days.) There is a school offering lessons for skiers and snowboarders for all levels and goals!
