Uchigasaki Shuzoten began brewing sake all the way back in 1661 in a post town on the Oshu Highway. The brewery has continued to produce excellent sake with a mild aroma and soft profile, focusing on handcrafted sake uninfluenced by current trends. In recent years, they have been striving to spread the Japanese culture of sake to the world by exporting their products to the United States and the United Kingdom.
