Kanamori Bay Area

Typical Hakodate Sightseeing Spots

Hakodate, which opened as Japan's first international trading port, has developed along with the port. Warehouses and post offices built in the Meiji period still remain in the bay area and are used as the Kanamori Red Brick Warehouse and Hakodate Meiji-kan commercial complexes, retaining their dignified appearance. In summer, the area is a viewing spot for fireworks displays, and in winter, it is a venue for Christmas fantasies, showing different faces depending on the season.
