“TOHOKU BREWING Tourism” –Tour to brew history and tradition – (Sun Mamoru Winery Visit)
Shimokita Peninsula, Aomori Prefecture. This is a beautiful place full of nature surrounded by the Pacific Ocean, the Tsugaru-kaikyo Strait, and the Mutsu Bay. Ominato Station is the terminal of Northern Honshu; there are no train services anymore from this point onward. From here, it takes 20 more minutes by car to get to the winery. Shimokita mountain range consists of the famous Osore Mountain. 10 hectares of vineyards stretch out before the foot of the mountain range. It almost as if its a foreign land, somewhere in Europe.
