Meiji Era Residence and Famous Garden to Enjoy the Colors of the Seasons

Morioka City Preserved Building was built in 1885 by Yasugoro Segawa, a businessman from Morioka, and the Morioka City Protected Garden is located on a large site of more than 1,000 tsubo (about 1,000 m2). The garden is also home to various exhibitions such as the Hina Matsuri (Doll Festival), pottery exhibitions, and art exhibitions.

It is also a good place for pre-wedding, Shichi-Go-San, and coming-of-age ceremonies.
