Sunflower Hill (Sambongi, Osaki City)
About 2 million rape blossoms in spring and 420,000 sunflowers in summer bloom all over the 6-hectare sunflower hill. During the period, the Rape Blossom Festival and Sunflower Festival are also held!
The 6-hectare “Sunflower Hill” is covered with 420,000 sunflowers, and the “Sunflower Festival” is usually held from late July to mid-August.
The festival attracts many visitors from inside and outside of the prefecture, as well as local products, including sunflower ice cream and other specialty products made from sunflowers.
Please come and see the beautiful scenery of bright yellow sunflowers spreading across the hills.
