Yahiko Park

弥彦公園

You can spend a leisurely and peaceful moment in nature.

This park offers a taste of Japan with its waterfalls, mountain streams, and tunnels.

Located near Yahiko Station, the park boasts an area of approximately 40,000 tsubo.

The “Momiji Valley” is especially famous for its autumn foliage, and the view of the vermilion-painted Kangetsu Bridge and the autumn leaves is a relaxing sight for visitors.

At night, the colored leaves are illuminated, transforming the area into a magical world.

The area is also known for its cherry blossoms, starting with Somei-Yoshino cherry blossoms in April and continuing through to Yaezakura (double-flowered cherry blossoms) in May, and rare varieties of satozakura can also be enjoyed.

When summer begins to arrive, fireflies can be seen in Yahiko Park.

Fireflies gather at the clean waterside, and many of them fly around not only in Yahiko Park but also in the surrounding rivers, making visitors feel at home.
