At the Hirosaki Castle Snow Lantern Festival, one of the five major snow festivals in Michinoku, approximately 150 snow lanterns and snow sculptures of various sizes made by citizens and others are lined up in the park, and a fantastic world spreads out with approximately 300 miniature camakura lit up and the “Grand Corridor of Tsugaru Nishiki-e” using pictures of the Hirosaki Neputa.

At the main venue, Shi-no-Maru, various events will be held, including a large snow sculpture in the shape of historical buildings, projection mapping using the snow sculpture as a screen, a large slide, and more.
