The train yard is not usually open to the public, but Konan Railway will hold special events such as a tour of repair techniques, which are rare in Japan, and an experience of operating a retro vehicle such as a Russell car.

Visitors can sit in the cockpit of a Russell car and experience opening and closing the large snow removal equipment called "wings" attached to the left and right sides of the car body, as well as raising and lowering the snow removal equipment called "flangers" inside the tracks.
