There are approximately 2,300 apples trees in 80 varieties in this apple park that boasts an area of approximately 5.2 hectares. This is a spot replete with facilities that lets you experience the tastiness distinctive of a location famous for the production of apples to your heart's content starting with apple picking experiences.
You can experience apple picking from August 1 to mid-November in the Production Experience Garden. The taste of freshly picked apples is exceptional! The period when you can experience this varies depending on the development of the apples. Therefore, please check in advance. You can freely stroll along the garden path. You can then appreciate the beautiful scenery overlooking Mt. Iwaki in the apple forest.
Approximately 1,200 kinds of product connected to apples are sold in Ringo no Ie (Apple House). These include original local crafts made with the motif of apples and apple sweets. Please try food made with apples (e.g., apple curry, apple sundaes and cider) in the light meal area. We also recommend you try drinking and comparing different ciders at Hirosaki Cider Kobo kimori.
You will also find a meeting place and picnic spot equipped with playground equipment. This makes it a popular place for family trips.
The Former Osanai Family Residence - a recreation of an old farmhouse - is located in the park as well. It exhibits old farm equipment. In addition, Tsugaru Mukashigatari is held here on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from April to November. These events involve the retelling of folk tales handed down since ancient times in Tsugaru in the local dialect.
