SUP stands for Stand Up Paddleboarding, a water activity that originated in Hawaii.It is a water activity that originated in Hawaii, and it is a great way to enjoy the openness of the water and the view from the high vantage point of the SUP board.The paddle board is slightly larger than a surfboard, and you stand on the board and paddle around on the water.The tour will take you to Yunoshima Island, which is located in front of Sunset Beach Asamushi.A guide and instructor will be with you, so even first-timers can enjoy the tour with peace of mind.

Asamushi Aquarium
The unique performance of the dolphins with local folk music is a must see!

Located at the northern end of Honshu (mainland Japan), Asamushi Aquarium is Tohoku’s biggest aquarium and is home to around 300 varieties of marine life, over 10,000 sea creatures in all. The aquarium is a popular attraction for families and hot spring visitors as it is located a short walk from Asamushi Onsen station.
The aquarium features a 15 metre underwater tunnel reproducing the marine environment of the local Mutsu Bay, be sure to look out for the flatfishes hiding in the sands! The tunnel also offers a unique display of the cultivation of scallops and sea squirts.
The aquarium’s hands-on touch pool is popular with children. Roll up your sleeves and get acquainted with the local scallops and sea squirts, along with the creatures living along the water’s edge such as sea urchins, starfish, sea anemones and crabs!

Tsuta Seven Lakes (Tsuta nana numa)
The autumn foliage is a must-see!

The Tsuta nana numa consist of Tsuta-numa, Kagami-numa, Tsuki-numa, Naga-numa, Hyotan-numa, Suga-numa, and Aka-numa, all swamps that were formed by volcanic eruptions.
A promenade connecting the swamps called Numa-meguri no Komichi (about 2.9 km, required time is about 1 hour) has been constructed, and you can walk around the primeval forest of beech trees in the area. The Asian skunk cabbage during the time of new greenery as well as the richly-coloured foliage in autumn are particularly splendid. *Aka-numa swamp is a little further from the other swamps, at a distance of about 2 km to the northwest.
The swamps are also optimal for birdwatching because they are rich with wild birds. Bird fans should try walking on the Yacho no Komichi (Wild Bird Lane, about 2.1 km).
After your walk, you can go to the Tsuta Onsen hot springs nearby. It’s fine to use the hot springs as a day trip. Enjoy the secret hot spring where the water source gushes below you.

Sukayu Hot spring
Touji Inn in Hakkouda

Sukayu Onsen is located in Towada-Hachimantai National Park. It was designated as “National Recreational Hot Spring Resort No. 1” in 1954 in recognition of its outstanding hot spring benefits, abundant spring water, spacious accommodations, pure natural environment, convenient transportation, and low rates. The famous “Hiba Senninburo” baths are 160 tatami in size, and the culture of mixed bathing still exists today (women-only hours are available in the morning and evening). A variety of rooms are available, from quaint Touji rooms to Western-style rooms with beds, where you can relax and unwind from the daily grind.
The Hakkoda Ropeway is located in the vicinity of Sukayu, where you can enjoy the magnificent nature of Hakkoda (Hakkoda mountain range) and enjoy the spectacular view that changes with each season: fresh greenery in spring, alpine flora in summer, autumn leaves in fall, and tree ice in winter. The Hakkoda ropeway is open from mid-May for fresh green leaves, August for summer skiing, late September to mid-October for autumn leaves, late November to mid-May for winter skiing, and January to late February for juhyo (ice covered trees).

Kuroishi's Nakamachi Komise Street, one of the "100 Best Streets in Japan," is a street where traditional buildings built in the Edo period still remain.The "Handmade Goods Workshop IRODORI" stands in the corner. The workshop offers hands-on experience of making and selling fans and lanterns made from recycled "Neputa pictures" that were actually used in the Kuroishi Neputa Festival.To make uchiwa (Japanese fan), choose your favorite part of the giant neputa picture and cut it out to fit the uchiwa mold.Since no two fans have the same design, you can create your own, one-of-a-kind fan!The lanterns, which are made by selecting and combining square pieces cut from a Neputa picture, are lined with traditional colors and patterns, making them even more special.We invite you to experience the experience of creating something that comes to life in a new way at "IRODORI.In the store, there are many unique Tsugaru goods made by Aomori artists. Tsugaru-han Neputa Village
A facility where you can experience the charm of Tsugaru in its entirety.

Visitors can experience the charms of Tsugaru in its entirety through exhibitions of Hirosaki Neputa, a corner for making goldfish Neputa, and live performances of Neputa music and Tsugaru Shamisen.There is also a corner where vegetables, apples, rice, and other produce are sold, as well as a corner where crafts are sold.
Fee-based tour area (30-45 minutes)Visitors can see a 10-meter-high large-scale neputa and a life-size neputa exhibit that allows them to see the framework of the inside of the neputa, experience a musical performance with flutes and drums, and watch crafts such as Tsugaru kites and Tsugaru lacquerware being made in a rice warehouse from the era of the feudal government, which is designated as a quaint building by Hirosaki City, and enjoy live performances of Tsugaru shamisen music every day.Visitors can also tour the Japanese garden "Yoki-en," designated as a national monument, and the teahouse "Yoki-an," a cultural asset of Hirosaki City. Hirosaki is the largest producer of apples in Japan. The "king of the apple kingdom" introduces apple pies in the "city of apples."
